Providing up-to-date information on current funding mechanisms within the life sciences sector, speakers at this event will include the Head of Life Sciences for the Technology Strategy Board (TSB), who will present on the recently announced BioMedical Catalyst Fund, a joint £180m TSB and Medical Research Council programme.

Aimed at key personnel within businesses, universities and hospitals responsible for innovation, translational research and internationalisation, this event will help identify the best routes to accessing funding programmes that match your project needs.

Other schemes covered will include the DH/NIHR ‘Invention for Innovation’ programme, the joint Wellcome Trust/DH Innovation Health Challenge Programme, the TSB’s SMART scheme, European Framework 7, equity linked finance, and the UKTI TAP/OMIS and SOLO international schemes.
