iQ-MOBILITY displays world’s first portable radiology greyscale reading station

6 December 2011

Rostock, Germany. IMAGE Display Solutions displayed its pioneering radiology image display product iQ-MOBILITY at the RSNA in Chicago last week.

iQ-MOBILITY enables radiologists to perform multimodality readings of diagnostic images from any location. It combines a laptop with a 17” diagnostic display and mobile reading/reporting software. The company claims it is the world’s first and only portable medical display that offers DICOM calibrated greyscale diagnostics.

Accredited as a class A medical display according to German standards, iQ-MOBILITY is comprised of a calibrated luminance of about 300 Cd/m², less than 10% homogeneity deviance, and a special anti-glare front glass for optimal viewing.

All features needed for radiology readings and even advanced tools such as hanging protocols are included. Furthermore, a 3D version, a web version, as well as orthopaedic, stitching, and nuclear modules complement the iQ-MOBILITY range. Any iQ-MOBILITY is available in either the colour or greyscale edition.
