Italy
7 February 2005
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla, USA. Imaging Diagnostic Systems, Inc. (BULLETIN
BOARD: IMDS) announced today that it has shipped and sold a second CTLM(R)
system to its distributor Biomedical International SNC for installation at
the Biomedical Mammography Center, Alba Adriatica, Teramo, Italy.
"We recently began marketing the CTLM system and these new sales
demonstrate that the revolutionary laser optical breast imaging technology
is gaining acceptance in Italy as a beneficial diagnostic tool," stated G.
Luciano Perazzi, President of Biomedical International.
Tim Hansen, Imaging Diagnostic Systems CEO, stated, "This is the fourth
operating CTLM system in Italy and the second sale in the country. We will
soon have operating CTLM systems in the university setting, general
hospitals and now a mammography center. Wherever women receive conventional
x-ray mammography exams, the CTLM may serve a useful adjunctive service."
The CTLM(R) system is the first patented breast imaging system that
utilizes state-of-the-art laser technology and patented algorithms to create
3-D cross-sectional images of the breast. It is a non-invasive, painless
examination that does not expose the patient to radiation or require breast
compression. Imaging Diagnostic Systems has received CE Marking, CMDCAS
(Canada), Canadian License, China SFDA approval, UL listing, ISO 9001:2000-
13488 certification and FDA export certification for its CT Laser Breast
Imaging system. The Company is seeking PreMarket Approval (PMA) from the
Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its CTLM(R) system to be used as an
adjunct to mammography.
