Vitacon

Vitacon develops, manufactures and markets products to treat incontinence, and to diagnose bladder dysfunction. During the last years the company has moved into diagnostic ultrasound, and has newly launched the VitaScan Ultrasound Bladder Scanner, flexible and cost effective solutions in bladder volume measurements.

The VitaScan is a Bladder Volume Instrument (BVI) used before or after voiding (PVR, Post Void Residual volume) to verify the urinary retention. Its 3D ultrasound non-invasive method prevents the unnecessary bladder catheterization and is a valuable part of an Infection Control program against Catheter Associated Urinary Tract Infection (UTI or CAUTI). It is used in Urology but also in Acute Care, Primary Care and Anesthesiology.

Vitacon was founded in 1985, and the company is located in Trondheim, Norway. Vitacon medical devices are available through our distributors worldwide.
