Akubio

A spin-out from the University of Cambridge, Akubio was founded in 2001 to develop acoustic biosensor instrumentation utilising core intellectual property invented within the University. Resonant Acoustic Profiling (RAP) enables the real-time detection of molecular interactions, and can be applied in many fields.

Today, through the RAP·id 4 product range, the company is firmly focussed on enabling molecular measurement in research, therapy development and drug discovery research. We listen carefully to understand the needs of scientists working in these demanding
application areas.

Akubio is rapidly expanding its core capabilities in piezoelectric devices, digital signal processing and biology as well as instrument integration.
The company is in the process of introducing multiple products, including analytical instrumentation, consumable reagents and accessories.
