The Romanian Association of Medical Products Suppliers

The Romanian Association of Medical Products Suppliers (AFPM) is the representative of the Romanian non-pharmaceutical medical industry. AFPM has 45 members, most of which are small to medium sized companies.

AFPM’s member companies are representatives of most of the international manufacturers of medical devices and diagnostics, and are currently covering over 80% of the Romanian market.

AFPM aims at:

• insuring that, in view of imminent EU accession, Romanian shall set up and apply an equitable and efficient legal framework

• increasing the awareness of the medical specialists, as well as population’s, regarding the importance of Medical Technology, including IVD

• setting up and maintaining high quality and ethics standards for our industry
